NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - An investigation is underway after a call for an attempted abduction at a storage facility in Antioch.

However, the Metro Nashville Police Department says they don’t believe the intruders were after the children.

The incident was reported Saturday morning at Extra Space Storage on Murfreesboro Pike.

We spoke with a woman who witnessed some of the chaos. She wished to stay anonymous but told WSMV 4 that when she was at her unit, she approached a father, his two children and their mother.

She says the mother was crying hysterically saying she believed someone was trying to abduct their young son but refused to let go of his arm.
