LEBANON, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Wilson County School Board is considering a three-tier start time schedule.

The idea for the transition to the three-tier start time came about in an effort to alleviate some routes within busing for Wilson County Schools and ease the strain on that front due to the shortage of drivers.

The start times would be 45 minutes to an hour apart.

In Thursday night’s school board meeting, board members voted to approve sending parents, staff, and students a survey asking their opinions on start times for elementary, middle and high schools in the district.
