Police have arrested a 37-year-old man in the fatal shooting outside of a Southeast Portland bar early Thursday morning.
Police said Brandon Lewis is accused of second-degree murder, second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon in the shooting, which happened around 2 a.m. in the 8200 block of Southeast Harrison Street. Police said no other suspects were being sought.
Later on Thursday, two people were powerwashing an alley that serves as the main entrance and exit for the parking lot. One of them said that is where the altercation ended.
The commercial strip houses a lottery retailer, several Vietnamese and Chinese restaurants and one bar, Buddy’s Lounge.
