WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- A 22-year-old man was arraigned Thursday for allegedly assaulting his former girlfriend multiple times, according to the United States Attorney's Office (USAO) for the District of Columbia.
Nyzir Miles, of Washington, appeared in front of a grand jury in the D.C. Superior Court on Sept. 10, where he was indicted on charges of: • Felony assault with significant bodily injury • Four counts of misdemeanor assault • Two counts of simple assault • Two counts of obstructing, preventing, or interfering with reports to or requests for assistance from law enforcement agencies, medical providers, or child welfare agencies.
