Thiru Vignarajah, the attorney representing the family of 36-year-old Michael Randle who drowned at the Beaver Dam Swim Club on August 17th, spoke outside the Baltimore County Health Department Headquarters off York Road in Towson.

The former Maryland Deputy Attorney General Thiru Vignarajah wants the County Health Department to investigate and evaluate whether the Beaver Dam Swim Club’s permit should be reconsidered.

Vignarajah told reporters that they’ve sent Beaver Dam Swim Club a preservation letter Thursday morning.

The letters ask Beaver Dam to preserve all evidence related to the drowning “videos, text messages, things like that that might become relevant that are in their exclusive possession”.
