A mother and daughter who were removed from a Jet2 flight due to a health condition suffered by the teenager have shared the distress they faced trying to get back home.
Lee Kelly, 58, and daughter, Tessy Kelly-Hester, 17, had boarded the plane back to the UK from Lanzarote after a week in the sunshine.
The mum shared how there were no issues getting on the plane and settling in, it was only when Tessy checked her blood sugar levels that the situation took a turn.
Tessy was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes four and a half years ago, and since then her mother has been helping her to manage the condition.
