Commuters are facing long delays following a crash on the M77 in Glasgow.

According to Traffic Scotland, lane one of the motorway is blocked northbound following the crash at Junction 2.

Drivers are being warned to expect delays of around 20 minutes following the crash just after 9.30am on Friday (September 19) morning.

It is currently unknown if there are any injuries following the crash.

Pictures from Traffic Scotland's road cameras show a long queue of cars on the busy motorway, as emergency services deal with the incident.

Traffic Scotland posted on X: "The M77 is currently restricted northbound at Jct 3 due to a road traffic collision

"Lane one is blocked on the main carriageway

"Road users are to expect delays. Approx 19 minutes currently."
