ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The Atlanta Dream fell to the Indiana Fever 87-85 on Thursday, ending their season.

It’s Indiana’s first playoff series win since 2015, when the Fever ultimately lost the WNBA Finals to the Minnesota Lynx.

It took a series-clinching Game 3 to determine Atlanta’s fate. The Dream decisively took Game 1 and the Fever roared back to win Game 2. The Dream had home-court advantage for Game 3 but couldn’t overcome Indiana’s strong fourth quarter, when it went on a 7-0 run in the final minutes to secure the victory.

Atlanta’s Allisha Gray and Jordin Canada led the team in points, scoring 19 and 18, respectfully. The team shot 50% but struggled from the free-throw line, shooting just 5-for-11.
