ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Police have given the all-clear after a bomb squad was called to a Roswell IHOP on Friday morning to investigate a car’s “suspicious contents.”

Police, fire trucks, an ambulance and the bomb squad’s truck were seen at the restaurant off Alpharetta Highway. A manager told Atlanta News First that the building was evacuated.

At around 6:40 a.m., police said the incident was a false alarm.

“We are glad to share that after thorough evaluation, the contents of the car are safe and were not a threat,” officers said in a statement.
