ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The Atlanta Falcons on Friday released kicker Younghoe Koo, the team announced .
Parker Romo was signed to the 53-man roster and will move forward as the team’s starting kicker. He was 5-for-5 in Sunday’s win over the Minnesota Vikings.
Koo didn’t travel with the team to Minnesota in Week 2 after he missed a 44-yard game-tying kick in the final seconds of Atlanta’s Week 1 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Had the field goal been made, the game would’ve gone to overtime.
