LOUISVILLE, Ky. — In their lone meeting this season, No. 6 Kentucky beat No. 3 Louisville 3-2 Thursday night at the KFC Yum! Center in front of 10,587 fans, snapping the Cardinals' four-year win streak in the in-state rivalry.
The match saw the Wildcats come back from a 2-1 deficit; after falling in set one 25-21, UK evened things up with a 25-21 win in set two before falling 26-24 in extra points in set three. It was all 'Cats in set four with a 25-12 win before taking set five 15-7.
