EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) —A partnership will celebrate National Senior Center Month.

According to officials, SWIRCA will 'Move with the Mayor,' as Evansville Mayor Stephanie Terry joins the organization in their upcoming event.

It will take place Monday, September 22nd at 9 a.m.

Officials say community members are invited to begin their week with coffee and conversation with Mayor Terry.

Soon after, officials say there will be a one-mile walk down Main Street.

Participants are asked to gather at SWIRCA which is located at 16 West Virginia Street.

Officials say they hope participants will connect with neighbors, share their voices, and demonstrate their commitment to healthy, engaged living.
