LARCHWOOD, Iowa (KELO) — There's a poker run this weekend that is going to help create outdoor opportunities for veterans.

While it's quiet now, the Sports Center in Larchwood, Iowa, will be home base for the 3rd Annual Hero Haven All Vehicle Poker Run this Saturday.

"We're going to take off from here at 11:30 and head down to Inwood to, Belly Up. And then we're going to go down to Hudson to Waddy's, and then we'll shoot over to Harrisburg to Fresh Horses…And then we'll go over to the Red Rock, which is right outside of Rowena, South Dakota. And then, Homestead Brew just right inside Minnesota. And then we've got Chud's on there," Organizer, Rebecca Majeres said.

While most poker runs are for motorcycles, any type of vehicle can participate.
