SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — A mild morning to start the new workweek, as temperatures have fallen into the 50's and low 60's overnight Sunday into our Monday morning.

But more summer-like heat is on-tap for the day today with increasing clouds and highs into the mid/upper 80's.

May see a stray sprinkle or shower late tonight but mostly just looking cloudy and mild with lows into the mid/upper 50's and low 60's. Turning breezy overnight and into Tuesday as well.

Partly cloudy, a bit cooler and windy for Tuesday with highs in the low/mid 80's with clearing through the afternoon and night into Wednesday.

A breezy midweek as well, with winds gusting 20-25 mph at times as highs rise back into the mid/upper 80's through the rest of the week for the first days of October.
