SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — The Marching Stars from Sioux City North High School hosted the 27th annual Starfest competition.

The competition includes a preliminary round in which bands compete in the four classifications of the Iowa High School Music Association. The top 10 bands from the initial competition advance to the evening finals in the open class. Trophies are awarded in each class in the prelims and all placings in the finals.
