SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — One man has been charged after a fatal stabbing in Sioux City.

According to the Sioux City Police Department, a person was stabbed in the 600 block of 14th Street on Friday night.

A man was found at the scene with an upper body stab wound. He was taken to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Investigators are considering the death a homicide case.

On Saturday, authorities stated they arrested and charged Ricardo Ramirez, 27, of Sioux City, with first-degree murder regarding the stabbing. He was taken to the Woodbury County Jail.
