JOHNSON COUNTY, Kan. (KCTV) - A Johnson County woman has been sentenced to prison for involuntary manslaughter.
Forty-six-year-old Amy Dawn Crouch of Lenexa, Kansas, was arrested on Jan. 17, 2025, after a fatal car crash at the intersection of West 89th Terrace and Park Street.
The crash, which happened around 11:10 p.m., happened when a Ford Bronco driven by Crouch ran a stop sign and hit a Toyota RAV4. The driver of the Toyota, 48-year-old Tsige G. Mesfin, of Shawnee, Kansas, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Johnson County District Attorney Steve Howe announced Friday that Crouch was sentenced to six years in prison for involuntary manslaughter.
