This is the moment a bungling driver on 'Britain's slowest police chase' tried to flee officers in a car with no tyres at 5mph.

Euton Rook refused to give up hope of a getaway as he trundled through a Midlands village at the very slow speeds.

The 42-year-old even continued in his desperate bid to avoid arrest after all four of his tyres were popped by a police stinger.

Police had been on the lookout for a Ford Mondeo with an altered number plate in Derbyshire n August 18 this year.

They spotted the vehicle near a pub in Swarkestone, with traffic officers turning on their blue lights to signal the vehicle to stop
