A brute who choked his partner to the extent that she passed out has been handed a 10-year non-harassment order. ‌

Kyle Potter had earlier climbed a drainpipe during an attempt to force entry to the terrified woman's Airdrie home. ‌

The 25-year-old appeared from custody at Airdrie Sheriff Court and admitted abusive conduct towards the woman. ‌
