BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A couple that has lived in Mississippi for years claimed they were living in Louisiana to obtain government benefits, according to arrest documents issued by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation.

Investigators with the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office arrested Janice Fore and Johnathon Fore and charged them with government benefits fraud and filing and maintaining false public records.

Investigators with the Medicaid Recipient Fraud Investigation Unit began the investigation in July. The complaint involved a married couple who were alleged to be receiving Louisiana Medicaid benefits while living in Magnolia, Mississippi.
