ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The NYSDOT has announced that a portion of I-490 east in Perinton will be closed nightly for four days.

The portion of the interstate between Exit 26 and Exit 27 will be closed intermittently for up to 30 minutes overnight, starting Monday, to accommodate bridge construction. The closures will be between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. and will continue nightly until September 26.

Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to take the posted detour using State Route 31, Kreag Road, and State Route 96.
