ST. LOUIS - Midwest Regional Bank has filed a lawsuit against the wife of the developer of the shuttered business Armory STL, seeking millions of dollars in unpaid debt.

The bank claims Jane Morrell guaranteed multiple loans from Green Street Real Estate Ventures from 2009 to 2022.

According to court documents obtained by FOX 2, the bank says Green Street defaulted on those loans and owes $16.3 million.

Documents did not list Morrell as a Green Street employee, but indicate she had personally signed commercial guarantees for her husband's business.

Green Street faces a number of lawsuits from former employees, lenders and investors.
