A former Scottish banker is en route to Gaza alongside Greta Thunberg to deliver baby formula and vital medical supplies to Palestinians.
Saddaqat Khan, 48, is currently making a 1,909-mile journey on board a civilian flotilla to Gaza City. The humanitarian, who left his job at a bank to start up his own charity supporting rural village communities in Northern Pakistan, joined the voyage from Barcelona on Sunday, August 31.
The boat, which is carrying medics, lawyers and politicians from over 44 countries, is set to arrive in Palestine within the next two weeks.
The volunteers say their mission is to "break the illegal siege" and open a desperately-needed humanitarian corridor, reports The Daily Record.
