CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns offense has been stuck in neutral for weeks, and now the drumbeat for a quarterback change is reaching a crescendo. According to Browns insiders on the latest Orange and Brown Talk podcast , Joe Flacco’s days as the starter could be numbered if he doesn’t perform against Green Bay on Sunday.
“I’m starting to really think that if Joe doesn’t play well this game that could possibly be it for him,” said Browns beat reporter Mary Kay Cabot, dropping a bombshell assessment on the podcast. “I wouldn’t be surprised. The drum beat is really starting to get louder for Dillon Gabriel. ... And if this offense can’t get untracked this week, why not take a look at Dillon?”
