Buckingham Palace has released a statement following allegations of a "heated feud" between royal staff and secret service agents during Donald Trump's state visit this week. ‌

The lavish state banquet on Wednesday saw 160 guests from the UK and US attend Windsor Castle for a gourmet meal. ‌

It was part of Trump's historic three-day visit , the first time a US President had been invited twice, which he called a "great honour". He was full of praise for the Royal Family in a speech he made during the evening. ‌

Despite the banquet being a success, rumours have emerged that staff and agents from the US Secret Service, in attendance to protect Trump, clashed behind the scenes, reports the Mirror .
