BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A homicide investigation is underway after a body was found behind a food mart in Baton Rouge.

According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, a call came in about a body found on Friday afternoon, behind the Triangle Market at the corner of Chippewa and Scenic Highway.

Police say they are unsure of when the murder happened or the identity of the victim.
