Rami Hammouri is heading home to Hudson — at least for now.

Hammouri, a Palestinian born in Israel, has been in federal custody since July 1 after a failed attempt to legally self-deport to Canada, where he and his wife and two young sons hoped to start a new life, free from the worry of being swept up by ICE during President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown.
