(WJET/WFXP) -- An Erie man has been found guilty of all charges related to the 2023 murder of another Erie man whose body was found decomposing behind an abandoned house on the city's east side.

Tyjahmon D. Crosby, 22, was convicted Friday for the murder of 21-year-old Jaquan Burrows, whose body was found behind an abandoned home in the 900 block of Ash Street more than two weeks after he was fatally shot on July 22, 2023.

He was convicted of felony third-degree murder, aggravated assault, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, receiving stolen property and firearms not to be carried, along with misdemeanor possession of instruments of a crime and reckless endangerment.

He was initially charged with criminal homicide; however, that charge was later changed to third-degree murder.
