SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A person who was shot in San Francisco’s Tenderloin district on Sept. 14 died from their injuries at the hospital, the San Francisco Police Department announced Friday.
“Despite the lifesaving efforts of the emergency responders and medical staff, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased in the hospital,” SFPD said.
The shooting happened in the area of Golden Gate Avenue and Turk Street around 6:31 p.m. Police found the gunshot victim at the scene and gave them emergency medical care before they were taken to the hospital by ambulance for life-threatening injuries.
