2025 Pride in the Park Sunday

QUINCY (WGEM) - An annual event celebrating Tri-State lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning (LGBTQ) communities is returning this weekend.

It’s the 5th annual Pride in the Park happening over in Clat Adams. Organized by the Tri-State Diversity Coalition, organizers said it’s an afternoon of diversity, inclusion and acceptance.

Tri-State Diversity Coalition President Chris Taylor said Pride in the Park will feature an array of live entertainment, vendors, and several local resources.

“Visibility matters,” Taylor said. “When we can turn on the television, we can go to the park, we can look at an events lineup in a city, and see ourselves somewhere in that event list in that population of promotion of a town, we know that people like us are being seen and valued.”
