A report by retired Utah State District Court Judge Richard D. McKelvie has revealed no findings of “gross mismanagement or illegal activities” in the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office.
McKelvie began the investigation in March, when he was tapped by the Wasatch County Council to look into the Sheriff’s Office following public safety complaints that had been brought to the County Council’s attention.
Though the report indicates there has been no “gross mismanagement” or illegal activity, Wasatch County officials indicated they have started to implement the recommended improvements made by McKelvie.
