Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. provided a short answer about his availability for Sunday’s game against the visiting Houston Texans.
“I’m good,” Thomas told reporters on Friday.
His availability was in question after he followed up a full practice session on Wednesday with limited participation on Thursday due to a wrist injury.
“I definitely think he had a better week (of practice) in terms of the way we were trying to connect,” Jaguars coach Liam Coen said Friday. “Excited about his (opportunity) this weekend.”
Coen acknowledged Thomas’ injury on Monday, one day after the wideout received online criticism for a few drops and a perceived lack of effort in Jacksonville’s 31-27 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals last Sunday.
