FOXBOROUGH, Ma. (BLACK AND GOLD NATION) - It’s looking more likely that Steelers defensive lineman Derrick Harmon will make his NFL debut on Sunday against New England. Harmon practiced this week for the first time since suffering his MCL sprain in the preseason finale against Carolina.
After being a full participant at practice on Friday, Pittsburgh listed Harmon as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Patriots. The rookie told the media earlier in the week that he felt good to play whenever the team called upon him.
If he can play, the 2025 first-round pick would be a welcomed addition to a defense that has given up more than 30 points in each game. Pittsburgh has also allowed a 100-yard rusher in each of the team’s past three non-preseason games.
