MARIPOSA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A teacher with the Mariposa County Unified School District is resigning and will be placed on administrative leave through June, officials announced on Friday.

In a release posted by the school district on social media, the school board's president states that, during a closed session, the board approved a separation agreement with a certified teacher.

The announcement comes after a teacher at Mariposa County High School allegedly made comments about Charlie Kirk's death.
