Chris Sutton says his comments about St Mirren boss Stephen Robinson were intended as a compliment. ‌

But the Record Sport columnist says he still wouldn't pay to watch his 'industrial' team. ‌

Robinson bit back at Celtic hero Sutton 's comments on Sky Sports when he said St Mirren tend to 'lump it' up the park. ‌

The Saints boss said he doesn't care what Sutton has to say and accused him of trying to stay relevant.

Sutton, speaking to Record Sport ahead of his Saturday column going live, says his comments were intended as a compliment – but he still wouldn't fork over the cash to go and watch them.
