Waverly, NY (WETM) — A raffle for a 1935 hot rod pick-up truck is going on to support the Waverly Winners Circle Project, and it could be yours.

The Waverly Recreation Boosters have supported the Waverly Winners Circle Project with the raffling off of the hot rod.

The project had to cut their program for a year after a lack of funds but are back on track with rebuilding vintage cars.

"We got together and figured out we're gonna raffle off one of our vehicles," said Rich McIntosh, the Athletic Director at Waverly High school. "Essentially, the money from that we're gonna recoup to put into this project we're doing now which is not building a new car but restoring a couple of vintage vehicles."

The hot rod has 400 horsepower, 18-inch wheels, a functional five-foot bed, and much more.
