Martins Ferry, O.H. (WTRF) -- Local leaders from across Wheeling Hospital and WVU Medicine gathered at the Romano Building in Martins Ferry to celebrate the official opening of the new Wheeling Rapid Care.

The center now includes lab services and x-ray imaging, allowing for easier access to essential facilities.

President and CEO Doug Harrison says he looks forward to how much the community will benefit from this new addition.

“The community is really responding, it’s exactly what the community needed in this type of expanded role. We’re very happy to be here and expand our service into the Martins Ferry community.”
