JEROME, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Eastbound Interstate 84 briefly closed this afternoon for an accident involving a pickup truck and a semi-truck, according to a reporter on scene.

The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. at milepost 169, just east of the South Jerome Interchange. All lanes were blocked but reopened at 4:10 p.m. Idaho State Police, Jerome County Sheriff’s Office and Jerome Rural Fire District were on scene.

There is no word on injuries and information will be provided as it comes in.
