The offices of KXTV ( ABC10 ) in Sacramento were struck by gunfire Friday afternoon, Sacramento police Officer Anthony Gamble told Deadline. No one was injured.

The day before, the building of KXTV, an ABC affiliate station owned by Tegna, was the site of a protest over the network’s suspension of Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired at the TV station shortly after 1:30 pm Friday. At least three gunshots were fired into a window of the building, which was occupied at the time, but fortunately no one was injured, Gamble said. No protesters were at the building when shots were fired.

Detectives are at the scene and investigating whether the shooting was random or targeted. There is no suspect information at this time.
