Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.

As The Who once mused in the 1960s, Thursday afternoon’s meeting of the Hamblen County Commission resulted in the return of the old guard for another year.

Bobby Haun, who was elected last year as commission chairman when Chris Cutshaw replaced Bill Brittain as County Mayor, was reelected to his job for another year. Haun was approved on a 12-2 vote with Commissioners Wayne NeSmith and Edna Greene voting no. Voting in the affirmative were Chairman Haun, and commissioners Debbie A’Hearn, Jamie Carden, Thomas Doty, Stan Harville, Tim Horner, Peggy Howell, Joe Huntsman, Rodney Long, Mike Reed, Mike Richardson and Kyle Walker.

Haun will receive $950 a month for his salary for the new year.
