SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — The location of a former national chain restaurant in Sioux City is being demolished.

A construction crew was tearing down the former Golden Corral location on Sergeant Road. That location has been permanently closed for a couple of years.

The building first closed down in June 2019 with plans to reopen in the spring of 2021.

According to property records, the property was sold to AutoZone Development LLC for more than $1
