SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The No. 6 Angelo State Rams return to San Angelo for its conference home opener on Saturday, Sept 20.

The No. 6 Angelo State Rams prepare for its Lone Star Conference home opener as it welcomes a familiar foe to town in week four, the Western New Mexico Mustangs. This comes one week after Angelo State's patience was tested in rainy conditions at Eastern New Mexico's home field, resulting in a delay lasting two hours and 27 minutes. The Rams held on for the 31-20 win, despite quarterback Kaedan Smith completing just two passes for two total passing yards.
