ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) –Nearly a decade after the city bought a problem property in the International District with a promise to build something new, the idea is finally coming to fruition, but it won't be a city property. Affordable housing developer Sol Housing is now on board to build a nearly $37-million apartment complex with retail space for local businesses and more.
The proposed building, called "Cosecha," would be near San Mateo and Kathryn. The potential four-story, 92-unit apartment complex for families would rent out one, two, and three-bedroom units for between $450 and $1,300 a month.
"We saw another need in the community, responded to an opportunity with our friends at the Metropolitan Redevelopment Agency, and we're just really excited to see this one come forward," sai
