SOUTH BEND, Ind. — After more than 6 decades in the County-City Building, the City of South Bend is officially moving out.
City officials confirmed that all city offices will begin operating from the new South Bend City Hall on Monday, October 13.
The new facility, located at the former South Bend Community School Corporation headquarters on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, will consolidate more than 200 city employees from three separate buildings into one location.
Boxes from the mayor’s office on the 14th floor of the County City Building are already being packed, following a year long archiving effort.
