GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was shot on Friday afternoon in Grand Rapids, police say.

It happened around 3:15 p.m. on Umatilla Street, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.

The man showed up to a local hospital with non-life threatening gunshot wounds, GRPD said.

It is unclear what led up to the shooting and police say the investigation is ongoing.
