RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A crash involving two cars in southwest Raleigh has claimed a person's life Friday night, police said.
According the Raleigh Police Department, officers, EMS and the fire department responded to a crash at the intersection of Tryon Road and Trailwood drive just after 8:30 p.m.

Police said the crash involved two cars and resulted in the death of one person, however they were unable to release any details about the deceased at this time.
In addition to one person being killed, police said two other people suffered minor injuries and a child in one of the cars was unharmed.
Raleigh police told CBS 17 the scene is still active and an investigation is ongoing.
