RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) - A wreck involving a car and train tracks occurred on Tuesday, according to the Raleigh Police Department.

Raleigh police said the wreck happened just before 12:30 a.m. at the railroad tracks on Nowell Road near Hillsborough Street.

According to Raleigh police, there were no injuries in the crash. Police also said a train was not involved in the crash.

Raleigh police said following the accident, CSX crews were on scene inspecting and assessing the damage.

The scene was cleared up and the road was opened back up a few hours later, police said.

Police said the investigation is still ongoing to determine if the driver of the crash will face charges.
