WALHALLA, S.C. (WSPA) - The Oconee County Coroner's Office said they are investigating the death of a 4-year-old boy.

The coroner said the child died Friday morning at a home in Walhalla. Emergency services had arrived at the scene right before 6:30 a.m.

The coroner said EMS was called in regards to a cardiac arrest patient.

Officials said SLED and the Oconee County Sheriff's Office are also investigating the death.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
