COLUMBUS, Ohio — Former Ohio Democratic Congressman Tim Ryan told 10TV in an exclusive interview Friday afternoon that he is still "not sure" if he will run for Ohio governor in 2026.
In August, Ryan said he would decide by Sept. 30 but said Friday he may take a few more weeks mulling it over.
Ryan served for Ohio in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2003 to 2023. He lost to now Vice President JD Vance in the race for U.S. Senate in 2022 by six points.
Ryan told 10TV the key factors he is considering in his decision are his family, his business and the future political climate.
