EAST HADDAM, CT. (WFSB) - Connecticut State Police are investigating a crash that happened in East Haddam.

Officials say that it happened at around 5:27 p.m. in the area of East Haddam Colchester Turnpike.

One vehicle was involved and the driver was able to get themselves out without assistance.

They were transported to the hospital for evaluation.

The area was shut down for around an hour.

The crash is under investigation.
